This kitchen started where a lot of North Atlanta kitchens are right now: espresso cabinets from the 2000s, speckled granite, and a diagonal beige tile backsplash that dated the whole room. The layout mostly worked — the finishes did not.

We stripped it to the walls and rebuilt with white shaker cabinets, white quartz counters, and a straight-set subway backsplash. Matte black pulls, faucet and range keep the white kitchen from feeling flat, and a microwave drawer in the island freed up the counter where the old microwave sat.
